Tupperware Brands marks another milestone as it recently conferred the prestigious Green Good Design award for the Green Product Design category for 2011. Tupperware Eco Water Bottle was awarded as a leading sustainable, innovative green product design in the world. The brand has proven to be among the key global corporations that did excellent job in protecting the environment, conserving resources and ensuring our future. The Green Good Design Awards (GGDA) was formed by leaders from two continents who joined forces: The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. The award giving body was created to challenge innovative ideas. Good Design™, on the other hand, was founded in Chicago in 1950 by Eero Saarinen, Charles and Ray Eames, and Edgar Kaufmann, Jr. to promote and foster a greater public understanding and acceptance for Modern Design. It also aims to create awareness and appreciation of the outstanding individuals, companies, and institutions, together with their revolutionary products, services, programs, and concepts that have inspired greater progress toward a healthier and more sustainable universe worldwide. GGDA is the largest and oldest awards for contemporary design in the world today.
