Free seminar on how to survive an earthquake/tsunami on May 29, 2011

How will the Japan earthquake, tsunami, radiation, affect us? How do we prepare for and mitigate the disastrous effects of calamities?

Dr. Joseph B. Bacareza, Head of the Emergency Medical Services of the Bureau of Fire Protection will give the public an update on the after-effects of the recent Japan earthquake and other related topics in a free seminar on May 29, 2011 (Sunday), 2-4pm at the Kaisa-Angelo King Heritage Center, 32 Anda cor Cabildo Sts, Intramuros, Manila.

Kaisa Para Sa Kaunlaran and Association of Philippine Volunteer Fire Brigades, Inc. join hands in this advocacy of keeping the public aware and better prepared for natural calamities and disasters through public forum and information dissemination.

Dr. Bacareza has trained abroad in disaster management and has assisted in disaster response and mitigation, most recently in Japan after the earthquake.
