The Biggest Man-made Hole In the World


This ginormous hole seems like a scene from some movies that tackle "end of the world" subject. But in reality it's a diamond mine located in Mirna, Siberia. It measures 525 m deep and 1.25 km in diameter, making it the biggest man-made hole in the world. The suction from the hole is so powerful that helicopters flying over it can actually crash.
